Samuel Hopkins (Director)
 
Samuel is a London based director and theatre-maker. His directing credits include; The Hired Man (Cadogan Hall), Outside and Normal (The Vaults), and A Poke in the Eye (Edinburgh Fringe).

Credits with the company Ponyboy Curtis include Vs. and FCKSYSTMS (The Yard), Walk Pause Walk (Camden People’s Theatre), and Coyote (New Diorama). He is a collaborator with the The Fems (Camden People’s Theatre, The Glory) and co-founded immersive petting experience Copycatzzz (shows; YAAASSSS and Aubergine).

Andrew Linnie (Musical Director)
 
Dublin-born Andrew trained at the Royal Academy of Music. His theatre credits as actor include The Commitments (West End and UK Tour), Jimmy's Hall (Abbey Theatre) and Assassins (Gate Theatre). Music credits include conducting The Hired Man (Cadogan Hall), Striking 12 (Union Theatre), and providing orchestrations for shows in Ireland, the UK and Finland. He is delighted to be back with Newsrevue having served as MD previously at the Canal Cafe and at the Arts Theatre in the West End.

Althea Burey (Performer)
 
After graduating from the Guildford School of Acting in 2015, Althea's theatre credits include: Khadija and Nonkosi in Elegies for Angel's, Punks and Raging Queens (Union Theatre), The Gruffalo's Child in The Gruffalo's Child (UK and International Tour); Sparks the Elf in The Extraordinary Tale of Holly Christmas (The Lowry); Various roles in NewsRevue (Canal Café Theatre)x2; Zuma and U/S Mayor Goodway in Paw Patrol (UK and International Tour); Snow White in Snow White (School Tour) and Betty in Princess Caraboo (Finborough Theatre).

Brett Sinclair (Performer)
 
Brett Sinclair, originally from Cheshire, trained in Musical Theatre at The London College of Music.
This will be Bretts third time performing with Newsrevue, however this will be his first time performing (or visiting) Edinburgh!
Credits include: Carmen 1808 (The Union Theatre), Peter Pan (The Guildhall Arts Centre), Dick Whittington (The Stamford Arts Centre), Bat Boy (London College of Music), Britain’s Got Talent Semi-Finals (Collaborative Orchestra, ITV)

Christian James (Performer)
 
“This will be the second time Christian has performed in Newsrevue and is thoroughly excited for Edinburgh.
His last outing was back in 2016 during the tumultuous time that was the Brexit referendum. He shall be revisiting his loud trump on stage for certain and don’t miss him playing Donald once again!


Stage credits include: Alan in ‘Do you love this planet?; (Tristan Bates Theatre), Outspan in The Commitments (UK Tour); Bardolph in The Merry Wives of Windsor (Merely Theatre) ; Bertie in H.R.Haitch (Union Theatre) ; Willy Wallflower in Sleeping Beauty (The Theatre Chipping Norton) ; Various Roles in NewsRevue ( Canal Cafe Theatre).

Maya-Nika Bewley (Performer)
 
After falling into a cardboard box off the coast of California and floating across the pond to London, she was taken in by the fantastic folks at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and was lovingly released in 2018.
Recent credits include: “News Revue” (Canal Cafe Theatre), “News Revue Southbank” (Underbelly Southbank Festival) Cinderella in “The Cinderella Panto” (The Regal Theatre), Jean-Louise Finch in “To Kill a Mockingbird” (Bridewell Theatre)*, Sarah in “San Diego” (Jacksons Lane Theatre)*
